Tonight’s Dinner Just Got a whole lot Better
Pasta is a universally loved dish that is always easy to make but maybe sometimes you wish you could enhance it a little bit. Look no further than this amazing baked pasta that will be on of your best tasting meals this week.
Whether you are looking to try something new and exciting with the family or perhaps want to impress that special someone with a home cooked meal, this dish has it all. It’s one of my go-tos when I want to treat someone to a great meal while also not having to spend all day cooking and not having to ignore your guests while your making it. Quick, easy and delicious is the basis of this dish.

Let’s Start Cooking!
Prep: 5 minutes — Cook: 30-35 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 cups of penne pasta, cooked
- 1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 24oz jar of your favorite pasta sauce
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook pasta according to the directions on the box.
- While pasta is cooking shred or cut the chicken breast into bite size pieces. (For this recipe I use rotisserie chicken from the market, so I do not have to cook it myself).
- Once pasta is cooked drain the water and return pasta to the pot. Add in sauce and chicken and stir until pasta and chicken are evenly coated in sauce.
- Place pasta into a square cooking dish.
- Cook for 15 minutes
- Remove pasta from oven give it a stir and then sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top evenly.
- Return to oven and cook for 5-6 minutes more until cheese is melted and dish is heated throughout

Additional Notes
- You can substitute another meat instead of chicken. Directions remain the same.
- If you have some fresh basil, garnish at the end to add a bit of color and extra flavor.
